Our Team


The N&C Service team is committed to the ideals of personal integrity, mutual respect, and excellence in service. Each employee of N&C Service undergoes a background check and receives ongoing training.

Mark Chapin

Mark Chapin, President

Mark began his career as a part-time cleaner while attending Carrol College in Helena, MT. Then, after running his own carpet cleaning business, he joined the management team at N&C Service. Now, with over 30 years of experience, Mark is well-versed in all aspects of the cleaning business. He has been instrumental in expanding N&C Service to triple its size since he came on board. Mark is a member of the Cascadia Green Building Council, a member of the Portland Metropolitan Association of Building Owners and Managers (BOMA), and he currently serves as President of the Foundation Board of East Portland Rotary. He volunteers for the Meals On Wheels program and Rebuilding Together, and he enjoys the many wonderful outdoor activities Oregon has to offer.

Ben Sferle

Ben Sferle, Director of Operations

Ben joined N&C Service in 2002 after building his own cleaning company and managing over 1.5 million square feet of office space. Over the years, Ben has developed methods of cleaning buildings more efficiently than industry standards, giving customers a cleaner building at a cost-effective rate. Ben provides keen project management of our company's operations. He speaks three languages - English, Romanian and Spanish.

Sorin Iagher

Sorin Iagher, Operations Manager

Sonny manages operations staff, schedules services, performs walk-throughs, creates account specifications and other operational documents. Sonny was an Accounts Manager with N&C Service for several years before he was promoted to Operations Manager. Prior to N&C Service, Sonny ran his own cleaning company for eight years and a successful towing company for nine years. Sonny graduated high school from the Center for Enriched Studies and was an Art major in college.

Eddie Stoenoiu

Eddie Stoenoiu, Operations Manager

Eddie began working with N&C Service in 2005. He started as an outside cleaner and quickly moved into a managerial position thanks to his hard work, team building and leadership skills. Eddie manages operations staff, schedules services, performs walk-throughs, creates account specifications and other operational documents. Eddie speaks both Romanian and English. When he's not working, he teaches bible school and plays guitar.

Alla Buzhduga

Alla Buzhduga, Service Consultant

Alla is responsible for sales and customer service. She has been working in the cleaning industry for over 10 years, and her positions have included estimator, trainer and cleaner. Alla's other work experience includes management and customer service. She is an excellent problem solver who speaks English, Ukranian and Russian. Alla graduated from Western Business College with an Associates Degree in Medical Science. She volunteers for the Red Cross and sings in her church choir.

Janet Lennon

Janet Lennon, Service Consultant

Janet is responsible for sales and customer service of our exclusive Le-Mint accounts. Janet brings extensive experience from the cleaning industry and has worked in management positions of major service companies for over 10 years. Janet retains her Oregon Real Estate Broker’s license and has a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from Arkansas State University. She is a member of the Oregon branch of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) as well as other networking affiliates. Janet is also a member of her son’s high school Basketball Booster Club and teaches Arts and Crafts on weekends at her local Community Center.

Rene Mowry

Rene Mowry, Service Consultant

Rene is responsible for sales and customer service. She has more than 13 years of experience in the cleaning industry. Rene owned her own cleaning business for seven years and is particularly knowledgeable in janitorial supplies and construction cleanups. She also worked for a property management company for five years and understands building maintenance needs from the inside. Rene has an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration. She enjoys camping, hiking, boating, jet skiing, and spending time with her friends and her two grown sons.

Angela Thompson

Angela Thompson, Service Consultant

Angela is responsible for sales and customer service. She brings more than fifteen years of customer service experience to N&C Service, including expertise in the cleaning, medical and hospitality industries. Angela has a customer service certificate from the Port of Portland. Outside of work, Angela enjoys cooking and exploring the great northwest with her children.

Mark Albrich

Mark Albrich, Sales Consultant

Mark assists new customers with finding the right service options to suit their cleaning needs. He has 22 years of experience in the cleaning industry. He has cleaned carpets and offices, but his primary focus has been customer service and sales. Mark's hobbies include drawing, singing and watching football.

Cosmin Bora

Cosmin Bora, Accounts Manager

Cosmin addresses services issues and manages the N&C Service cleanup crew for construction cleaning, one-time cleaning, special projects and startups. Cosmin moved to Portland in 1991 and attended Western Business College where he studied Travel. He spent 15 years in customer service before coming to N&C Service. He's a licensed Real Estate Agent in Washington state who speaks fluent Romanian and English. Cosmin played semi-professional table tennis and is a member of the United States Table Tennis Association and the Portland Table Tennis Club.

Daniel Dan

Daniel Dan, Accounts Manager

Dan addresses services issues and performs inspections, trains, and assists with hiring new cleaners for N&C Service. He has over ten years of experience in sales and management, where he developed excellent communications skills. As a family man, Dan enjoys spending time at home and in the great Pacific Northwest outdoors. He is captain of a local soccer team. He speaks English and Romanian.

Christopher Iagher

Christopher Iagher, Accounts Manager

Christopher addresses service issues and oversees our large college accounts and manages the N&C Service cleanup crew for construction cleaning, one-time cleaning, special projects and startups. Before he joined N&C Service, Christopher spent four years managing accounts for another cleaning company. He speaks three languages, including Romanian, Hungarian and English. Outside of work, Christopher is a music enthusiast, and he enjoys DJing, blogging and outdoor activities.

Daniel Quesada

Daniel Quesada, Accounts Manager

Daniel addresses service issues and performs inspections, trains, and assists with hiring new cleaners for N&C Service. Before coming to N&C Service, Daniel worked in the cleaning industry for four years as a cleaning technician and carpet cleaner. Prior to that, he attended Clark College and worked in customer service for 15 years. In his time off Daniel loves to cook and spend time with his family and friends.

Linda Bates

Linda Bates, Office Manager

Linda is responsible for managing office operations including administration, accounts receivable, payables and billing. With over 30 years of accounting, bookkeeping and supervisory experience, Linda has been a valuable member of the N&C Service team since 1996.

HR Walters

Heather Rose, Technical and Creative Services Coordinator

Heather Rose has been on the N&C Service team since 2004. She develops administrative procedures, manages our marketing, and coordinates creative and technical services. She has worked for a variety of non-profits, including a large urban management organization in Manhattan and a charitable film production company in Portland. She serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors of a non-profit theatre company.

Kyria McGill

Kyria McGill, Human Resources Manager

Kyria brings over 15 years of experience to the position of Human Resources Manager. She holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Management and spent over 10 years running her own successful businesses. Kyria is currently completing a Master's degree in Business Administration with a Human Resource specialty while raising three boys. During rare moments of free time, Kyria enjoys spending time with her husband and family seeing movies, acting in Renaissance Faires, and exploring their new home in the Pacific Northwest.

Valentina Sferle

Valentina Sferle, Administrative Assistant

Val began working for N&C Service in 2005. In addition to assisting with administrative tasks, Val is our Supply Clerk and assists in hiring and training new employees. Prior to working for N&C Service, Val worked in customer service and billing, and assisted in operating a cleaning business for seven years. She obtained her Associate of Arts in Business and Education from the University of Phoenix. She is fluent in Romanian and English. Val enjoys outdoor activities and likes to take adventures with her husband and four children.

Ruben Almasan

Ruben Almasan, Production Assistant

Ruben runs errands for our Operations Department. He helps maintain the supply warehouse and company vehicles.
